You will be educated and trained to work in elderly care if you complete the Certificate IV in Ageing Support. Individual support workers are essential in meeting the needs of our ageing population. This certificate provides you with sufficient training so that you can work as a detail-oriented caregiver who supports vulnerable populations in maintaining their health, independence and well-being.

The certificate IV in Ageing Support will help you improve your job prospects. You can upskill, transfer to other positions, and/or fill a gap in the community care sector with this qualification.

You will need to provide a range of evidence to assist your assessor to make a decision about your competence. The types of evidence you may be asked to provide can include
